About Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center
In the living room of Bishop Michael Canion’s mother, Lillian Reed’s Atlanta home, in 1984, The Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center (AOTFWC) was conceived with only four members. Since then, AOTFWC has relocated twice under the leadership of Bishop Michael and Dr. Tanda Joy Canion to sustain its growth and vision for developing each member of the Body of Christ. Countless lives have been transformed all over the world through their ministry and outreach programs. The vision God gave to Bishop Canion for the Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center is coming to pass and the church continues to evolve and grow.
The Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center is a non-denominational church in the heart of the historic Castleberry community in downtown Atlanta, GA. Located in walking distance of the Georgia Dome and the Atlanta University Center (AUC), this phenomenal church plans to cross all boundaries; race, age, class as well as nationality. The ministry brings together the leaders in the community, the less fortunate and homeless, business owners and the minority and even the majority.

Man-E-fest Men’s Group
Man-E-fest allows all men to share insights to help other men grow spiritually, personally, financially and professionally. Comprised of three groups: teens 13-18, college students and men 21+, Man-E-fest provide boys to men with sound council and leadership skills for all seasons of their lives.

Tea with Dr. T (For Ladies Only!)
In an intimate setting Pastor Tanda teaches women to be all they can be through the power of the Holy Spirit. Whether you are single, a mother, a business professional, married, elderly, divorce, battered orhurt, bring your favorite tea cup, it’s tea time! Designed to minister to the “whole” woman.

Relationships 101
Learn stragtegies that will take your relationship/marriage to the next level. Group discussions are led by Bishop Michael Canion and his wife,
Dr. Tanda Joy Canion. Married couples, engaged couples, dating couples, and singles who want to learned dating tips and strategies are all welcomed.

R.E.A.C.T. (Singles’ Ministry)
Straight-talk sessions held to discuss real life issues regarding dating, sex, college/campus life, Christian living and much more. It is a source for good conversation and fellowship, social events, and meeting new people. Join the Responsible Empowered Adults Conscious of their Task.

It’s tough raising kids with two parents. Meet with other single parents who are succeeding rearing kids on their own. Whether you are a single mother or father, divorcee, widow/er, separated, etc... find solutions and discuss the challenges of being a single parent.

Warriors for Christ (Youth Ministry)
Ministry designed to meet the needs of today’s children/youth of all ages. Programs include Children’s Sunday School, Children’s Church, Youth Choir, Youth Dance Ministry, Step-Team, Rites of Passage (Boys/Girls -ages 8-12) and Debutantes (Girls -ages 13-18). Every Tuesday and Sunday during all Services. (Meet every 2nd Sunday)
48+ (For Seniors)
Share your life and wisdom during this time of fellowship with dynamic-seniors of God. Be encouraged and empowered by special events, planned socials, and outings on the town. (See Staff for Event Scheduling)
Food for the Soul
Be encourage in your faith during this informal Sunday School as our spirtual leaders and guest speakers share practical applications to the Word of God for your life. 9:00 - 9:45 AM 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays
